Dear Parents

Dear Parents,

Problem: Kids lying.
Verdict: Kids don't lie unless they need to.
Solution: 1. You've got to allow them to tell you everything.
              2. They begin to lie when you start laying out rules which you can close an eye on.
              3. Discuss with them about their outings.

Reason for lying: 1. They know its perfectly safe, but you parents don't allow it. Therefore, they'll say they're doing something else which you approve of, than telling you the truth of the situation. (They know they are risking their trust from you but it never hurt anyone, so they go with it anyways).
                          2. They just want to hang out longer. If you restrict them from hanging out to late. E.g. Sleepover at a friend's, they may / may not sleepover.
